Unlimited Classes Update

Hey! You may have seen that we started implementing the new changes to our Unlimited Classes Package over the last week. This post is some information and answers to common questions we've gotten so far since implementing.


What's Changed?

  1. New terms of service.

    1. We've made some changes to improve fairness in our bookings system so that fewer people miss classes & others make more classes

    2. This involves a new strike system for fully booked classes

      1. If you miss three bookings in a month without paying the full price for the class or appealing to us directly, you will have your Unlimited Classes Package Suspended for a couple of months.

      2. The same applies if you attend a full class without a booking, you will have to pay full price for the session or receive a strike.

  2. Payment changes.

    1. New Unlimited Classes Packages will no longer be accepted in cash, they are only redeemable through our website

    2. We've balanced the price so that it's more sustainable for the studio & ethical for your instructors(+15%)

  3. The old Unlimited Classes Package is being retired as of September 2023.

    1. If you hadn't already made the switch you will have received a chat message in your app notifying you of the cancellation

  4. Check-Ins

    1. At the beginning of class, everyone will be asked to check themselves in on our tablet next to the stage

 

Q&A

There has been some confusion as to the changes to the Unlimted Classes Plan regarding subscription status, time changes, payments, back payments, & more. I'll try to answer some of the most common questions below.

  • "Do I have to manually unsubscribe from my current plan?"

    • Nope, if you haven't made the change yourself, I've already canceled its renewal.

  • "What do I have to do?"

    • If you'd like to keep your package, all you have to do is resubscribe on the Plans & Packages Page for when you'd like to start.

  • "I was charged after I ordered, have I been double charged for this month?"

    • Nope, packages now work the same way as products in our store, which means you will be charged at checkout for your first term.

      • While it is unlikely the site will double charge you for anything, if it does happen, make sure to let us know so we can fix the issue and return your money.

  • "What if I can't cancel my class on time?"

    • If you have missed a booking in a fully booked class, you can either pay for the space at the total price of the class or no longer get access to your packages when booking spaces.

      • You can avoid getting a package strike by paying for the class or having a chat with your trainer if there was an emergency.

  • "Where can I manage my subscription?"

    • You can view and manage your plans in your profile under the Manage Subscriptions tab.

      • On the mobile app, you can get to this by clicking your profile picture in the top left corner, clicking "My Activities" & then Subscriptions.

      • On the website just click the dropdown next to your profile picture located on the top right corner of your screen & click "My Subscriptions"

  • "Why have I been unsubscribed from my current package?"

    • Unsubscribing everyone meant that everyone gets to agree to the new terms before continuing with their package & inactive clients aren't paying for a package they aren't using.
