Happy happy New year everyone.
Hope you enjoyed the festivities . If like us , you ate plenty of treats, don't worry, won't take long to work off 😅 you'll be feeling fit again in no time 💪💪
Dedication and consistency to yourself will make sure of it 👌
What's your goal this year ?
Mine... I have to greatly reduce my sugar intake , this sweet tooth of mine is doing me no favors.
To strengthen up my legs and work on meal prepping along with losing the Christmas carnage around my middle !!
Be great to hear your goals , once written down & shared , they may feel easier to aim for .
2022 , give it a good go 😅
Yours in fitness
Eithne .
Bed early reading. Week 1 done and dusted, good to be back at work on Thursday. Routine. Did step thanks David🥰legs were sore🙄😅🤣. Lunch prepared for tomorrow, homemade soup. Chocolate intake ( little treat today)...ill improve....but I do love my chocolate. Take it easy on us this week baby steps please🙏. Night sweet dreams.😴😴. I am choosing to have a good day tomorrow and make the most of what life throws at me.💪.......
How did your week go , did you get started on your steps to help reach your goals ?
No panic if not but I bet you did make a few positive changes .
Remember, doesn't matter how small you think they are , it's still a change and a step closer to your goal. So keep on it 👌
I managed to gain back some control of my sweet tooth. Not to hard when you don't have the chocolate in the house, I still have to run by the sweets in the shop so I know there's plenty of will power to gain yet. I just know my teeth and skin and blood sugar levels will thank me for it ☺️
I've also been working on my sleep schedule. Been having far to many late bed ,late ups , managed a few early nights but think I'll be going in head first tomorrow morning ,will just have to adapt & go with it !! I keep reminding myself how good I feel when I get my own training done before work.
Plenty of work to be done yet and a few festive kilos to loose but I'm happy with the start 😁
On to week two and looking forward to it.
Do your best to keep on track, don't worry if you step off it , just get the feck back on and try again . Don't give up .
You've got this 🤗
*Day one of taking those steps toward our goals.
*Break down each goal into chunks of little tasks so it's less daunting .
For me, reducing sugar from my sweet tooth is tough, especially after the Christmas treats everywhere I look.
Step1 - clear out any left over sweets etc from the house. No temptation (trust me, it's a challenge)
Step2 - reduce my coffee intake as I like it sweet. Start drinking my green teas again ( don't know why I stopped in the first place !!)
Two steps this week, I'll be very happy when I make a big dent in these targets, I'm in no rush as I want to make these goals long term and really establish these habits again.
*They may seem like small easy tasks for you but for me, not really.
Each person's tasks are their own challenge no matter how big or small .
Writ yours down and start doing 😁
I totally Agree with Eithne Im feeling the slump after the xmas period.
2022 Goals
Taking the time to train myself and twice a week so I can get to where I want to be.
I need to kick my ass in gear and get my Nutrition course finished.
I need to kick start a good food plan which involves me not being lazy and actually prepping my food on a Sunday for the week ahead.
In the second half of the year I would like to do another course in some type of fitness that I am not sure of so that's why I have put this to the second half of the year.
As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day and tiny steps towards your goal will always keep you in line to achieve this.
Happy 2022 guys and lets make this year one that's filled with happiness laughs and the joy of enjoying a good workout in the studio.
Daithi :)
Absolutely reduce sugar intake , middle🙄too. Increase my water intake...get back moving and into routine. I'm good on the food prep...reduce portion size needs to be addressed. Mindfulness. 🙏
